We care for injured and orphaned native British wildlife, from garden birds and hedgehogs to owls and other larger species. Every animal that arrives is assessed, treated and given time to recover, with the goal of returning it to the wild as soon as it's ready.
How we work
- Injured wildlife: emergency care for animals hurt by traffic, cats, garden equipment or illness
- Orphaned wildlife: hand rearing young animals that have lost their parents, until they're old enough to fend for themselves
- Ethical, welfare led care: every decision is made with the animal's best interests first, including when the kindest option is humane euthanasia rather than prolonged suffering
- Native species focus: we specialise in the wildlife you'll actually find in Cambridgeshire gardens, hedgerows and rivers
- Release: wherever possible, animals go back to the wild, often close to where they were found
